Online application form for Prospective Students of Japanese
Please Note: The language placement is only for is to determine the most relevant course for you to start at UNSW. .
If any one or more of the followings applies to you, then proceed to fill in the placement form.
- 1. You have studied Japanese before in any form of learning (e.g. High school, vocational school, private tutoring, online course, self-taught, learn through communication with Japanese friends)
- 2. You are able to write a sentence in Japanese using kana and kanji.
- 3. You are a heritage speaker of Japanese (your parent is Japanese)
- 4. You have lived in Japan for more than 6 months at the age of 6 or older.
If none of the above applies to you, do not attempt the placement but enrol in ARTS1630.
If you are unsure, proceed to the placement.
